Certificate Test

This Remote MRI Technologist (VRT) certificate test is created to assess the skills needed to perform at an optimal rate as a certified MRI Technologist in a remote setting.

This examination will challenge you to answer multiple choice, scenario questions and fundamental parameter and technique questions.

Qualifications

• Certified ARRT or ARMRIT MRI Technologist, in good standing.
• 3-5 years of MRI technologist experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, onsite practitioners and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner via remote means.
• Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and must be able to convey MRI safety screenings.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough virtual MRI Safety Screening and Clearance ("Timeout") for all MRI patients via remote means.
• Ensure accurate patient landmarking is complete by a certified technologist or Level II Personnel safety trained MRI Tech Aide.
• Record detailed patient history and be able to input patient information in PACS.
• Communicate and provide a calm environment for all patients before, during and at the end of the MRI exam.
