Remote MRI Technologist (VRT)
Certificate Test
This Remote MRI Technologist (VRT) certificate test is created to assess the skills needed to perform at an optimal rate as a certified MRI Technologist in a remote setting.
This examination will challenge you to answer multiple choice, scenario questions and fundamental parameter and technique questions.
Qualifications
- Certified ARRT or ARMRIT MRI Technologist, in good standing.
- 3-5 years of MRI technologist experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, onsite practitioners and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner via remote means.
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and must be able to convey MRI safety screenings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct a thorough virtual MRI Safety Screening and Clearance ("Timeout") for all MRI patients via remote means.
- Ensure accurate patient landmarking is complete by a certified technologist or Level II Personnel safety trained MRI Tech Aide.
- Record detailed patient history and be able to input patient information in PACS.
- Communicate and provide a calm environment for all patients before, during and at the end of the MRI exam.
